Map & Direction
Shelby is a licensed massage therapist and registered yoga instructor. She has her RYT 200. She studied massage therapy at Harper College and has since studied prenatal massage, table thai massage, and myofascial massage. She is currently deepening her understanding of movement and the body while pursuing her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Northern Illinois University. Shelby uses techniques from a variety of modalities including myofascial release, trigger point release/deep tissue, and table thai stretching to work toward each clients specific needs.
Practicing yoga for over 10 years, Brook has her RYT 200 from Lotus Yoga Centre and teaches at local yoga studios along with corporate yoga at businesses. Teaching Hatha, Yin, Restorative, & Vinyasa Flow, Brook guides her students into achieving a sense of well-being & harmony in their lives, and to cultivate self-awareness, & to connect with their breath. In her free time, Brook is a freelance nature & portrait photographer, & enjoys spending time with her husband & two children.
Yoga has been a part of Nikki's life, for over 20 years, She began practicing yoga while working a demanding job & experiencing migraine headaches. Intrigued by alternative medicine & natural healing, Nikki found pain relief through her yoga practice. As a mother of 3 boys, life is busier than ever but Nikki strives to find her balance by practicing yoga regularly. She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher's Training and has her RYT 200 from Lotus Yoga Centre with Anita Maher. Yoga inspires Nikki to live each moment mindfully & have fun. She loves sharing her knowledge & passion for yoga with others & hopes her students will step off the mat feeling nourished, relaxed, & more balanced. Nikki enjoys spending time with family & friends, especially at the beach or boating. Nikki also enjoys reading, traveling, studying essential oils, & reiki.
MORNING FLOW with Infrared Lights
A movement based flow with emphasis on the breath. You’ll be provided with alignment and other body centering cues and yet encouraged to feel your way through the practice from the inside out. You are encouraged to make the class as challenging as you like.
